Volunteer Coaches Needed

The City of Community Services is always in the need of volunteer coaches for our Youth Sports Programs. Coaching information, clinics and meetings will be offered on rules, drills, and policies necessary to be a successful coach. All coaches and volunteers are required to be fingerprinted and have a background check.

The City of Dinuba youth programs offer a fun and safe environment for your child to learn, explore and play. Dinuba’s youth can experience activities like, art, nutritional education, fitness, leadership training and a variety of programs and clubs.

City of Dinuba All Star After School Program

Registration Opens July 10, 2023

Program Hours: 2:00pm -5:30pm

This Program offers a Fun and Safe Environment for your child to learn, explore and play. Join us for Fun Activities such as Sports, Crafts, Clubs, Field Trips and Homework Assistance. A daily supper will be provided for all participants.

A current picture of your child and payment is required for registration.

  • In person registrations will start in July.
  • Incomplete registration forms will not be accepted.
  • Payment is due at the time of registration.
  • Program hours and days will reflect the DUSD Instructional Days.
  • Program offered at, Jefferson, Wilson, Roosevelt, Lincoln and Kennedy.
  • Grades 1st – 8th.

Spring Fling

Event takes place annually the weekend before Easter

Enjoy a nice day with the family at our annual Spring Fling. Games and activities are free. Don’t miss the opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny and children 3rd grade and under can hunt for eggs.

Summer Concerts in the Park

2nd Friday in June through the 1st Friday in August

Dinuba takes pride in maintaining clean parks. Whether you are looking for a place to host a party or wanting a place to just relax, Dinuba’s parks is the place to visit. Our City Ordinance states Dinuba Parks are tobacco and alcohol free.

All reservation forms must be signed and returned before consideration of approval. Submission of reservation request does not constitute approval. Facility Reservations require a minimum of 10 working days to process for small gatherings. Applications for large community events must be received a minimum of 90 days prior to the proposed event date.


Facilities

The City of Dinuba's parks provide many recreation opportunities for residents and visitors alike. With shaded parks and playgrounds, picnic areas and sports fields, and the indoor Sportsplex sports complex, Dinuba's park provide fun for all!

The Dinuba Senior Center offers a variety of activities and programs for seniors (age 55 and over) to come and fellowship with peers, exercise their talents and enjoy a nutritional lunch.

Hours

The Center is open for activities on:

Tuesday & Thursday from 8am to 4pm and Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 12pm.

(Office staff is on site Monday - Friday until 4:30pm)

  • Ceramic class has been extended to Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 2 pm
  • (attend any time within these hours).
  • Senior Exercise Class is held at the Dinuba Community Center on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30am to 9:30am
  • King’s River Quilter’s Guild meet in the Social Hall, on 2nd Saturday of every month.

Senior Lunches

Lunch is served in the Social Hall on Tuesday and Thursday. Seniors age 55 and over are welcome. Invite your senior friends and senior family members to join us for lunch! Healthy, nutritional meals are prepared by the Dinuba Unified School District Food Services department. The City subsidizes the cost in order to provide a reasonable priced lunch for seniors ($1.50). Lunches are served all year, except observed & major holidays.

Room Rentals

Dinuba Senior Center facilities are available to rent for meetings, trainings, parties, receptions, etc. (certain restrictions apply).
