The Dinuba Police Community Volunteer Program - Citizens Academy is designed to build a closer working relationship between community members and the police department. This is accomplished by providing the community members with an overview of law enforcement procedures, promoting ownership and responsibility for our community. In this way community members can play a key role in the prevention and deterrence of crime.
Applicants who successfully complete the academy and show a desire to continue to serve their community will be invited to take part in the selection process to join the Dinuba Police Community Volunteer Program.
