The City of Dinuba is requesting proposals (RFP) for Plans, Specifications & Estimates and Construction Engineering Services.

Total amount payable to the Consultant shall not exceed $759,000 and with a performance period of the contract from the date approved by the Dinuba City Council to the project closeout date of March 31, 2026 whichever is the lesser

The hard copies and USB drive shall be mailed or submitted to the City of Dinuba 1088 E. Kamm Avenue, Dinuba CA 93618 prior to 4:00 P.M ON MAY 7, 2024.

Notice of Availability

Notice is Hereby Given: The City of Dinuba (City) is the Lead Agency on the below-described Project and has prepared an Initial Study / Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) on the proposed Empire Estates Residential Project (Project) which includes the development of a single-family residential development in the western part of the City. The complete Project description, location and the potential environmental effects are contained in the MND. The MND has concluded that no significant environmental impacts will occur as a result of the Project.

A new roundabout at the intersection of Kamm and Alta will begin construction starting on Monday, November 27th. Pending weather and other challenges, the road is anticipated to be complete and open to traffic on May 17th, 2024. However, the Contractor will be making every effort to have the intersection open earlier, if possible. Alternate routes around and into Dinuba have been established.

For those coming into Dinuba from Visalia please use Avenue 400 to go either east to Road 88 or west to Road 72 to continue into Dinuba. For those going south to Visalia please use El Monte Ave to either Road 72 or Road 88, south to Avenue 400. Once on Avenue 400 you can than access Road 80 to continue travel south. (See attached route map)

Additional underground work will also occur as part of the new Dinuba High School project as part of the new roundabout project. The new intersection will allow for increase safety and the continuous flow of traffic in and out of Dinuba.

The City of Dinuba is applying for grant funds to implement walking and biking improvements throughout the city. We want to hear from students and parents about their current walking/biking habits, and concerns regarding walking and biking to/from Dinuba schools. WE'RE WINNING THE FIGHT...
Through the sales of collectible uniform patches, public safety agencies world-wide are helping to bring an end to breast cancer.
 
2021 marks the first year that Dinuba PD will be participating in the Pink Patch Project to raise money for breast cancer research and awareness. Dinuba PD is selling pink patches that the public can purchase for $10.00 each. Officers will be wearing the patches during the Month of October 2021 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The proceeds from the patches will go to a local breast cancer related center.
Anyone wanting to purchase patches can contact the Police Department at 559-591-5911.

The Dinuba Small Business Stabilization Program (SBSP) is designed to promote economic stability by providing immediate relief in the form of a one-time forgivable loan for essential operating expenses to Dinuba small businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19.

The goals of this program are:
1. Help small businesses survive the COVID-19 crisis.
2. Retain employment and continue to pay employees.
3. Maintain the provision of goods and services for Dinuba residents.

Funds to pay for ‘Phase 1’ of storm drain improvements to mitigate flooding issues in the Downtown.

(Dinuba, CA) – For many years, the City of Dinuba, has attempted to secure funding from a variety of different sources to fund the much-needed storm drain improvements in the Downtown. Today, city staff received written notice that the City of Dinuba has been awarded a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) in the amount of $3,000,000 for the Kern St. Storm Drain Project.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the regular meeting of the Dinuba City Council scheduled for July 23, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. is hereby cancelled.

The next regular meeting of the Dinuba City Council is scheduled for Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, 405 E El Monte Way, Dinuba CA 93618.

Dinuba Ponding Basins are currently negative for West Nile Virus

Mosquitoes samples from Dinuba have not tested positive for West Nile Virus

DINUBA, CA – Delta Vector Control District (DVCD) is conducting routine surveillance for mosquito-borne disease and nuisance mosquitoes throughout the district, including regions where ponding basins are located. To date, no mosquito sample from 2019 has tested positive for West Nile Virus.

The City of Dinuba is currently developing three multimodal projects designed to improve traffic safety on all City streets.
