Independence Day Celebration 2020 CANCELLED

Governor Newsom, under guidance from the State of California Health and Human Services Agency and the California Department of Public Health, is steadily updating California's roadmap to modify the Shelter-in-Place order and allow the reopening of businesses and workplaces throughout the state. The state is currently in Stage 2 of the plan, and some counties, who have met specific metrics, have been allowed to move into Stage 3. However, large gatherings and community events are currently listed under Stage 4. In order to comply with the state order, and in an abundance of caution, it is with a heavy heart that we announce that the 2020 Independence Day Celebration has been cancelled. However, fireworks booths will be open throughout the community and they are currently permitted to sell fireworks to the public. Families are reminded to practice safe fireworks handling, physical distancing recommendations, and are encouraged to avoid large gatherings with those other than members of your household.
