REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: PARKS & RECREATION MASTER PLAN UPDATE

The City of Dinuba hereby requests proposals from qualified consultants to conduct a Parks Master Plan Update. The Parks Master Plan was last updated in 1992. The City of Dinuba is located in Tulare County and has a population of approximately 25,328 residents in 6.5 square miles. Dinuba is a full service city with 198 employees, providing services in the areas of police, fire, water, sewer, transportation, economic development, redevelopment, parks and community services, code enforcement and planning. Internal operations include general administration and finance. Growth is forecasted to remain strong.

The purpose of this project is to update the Parks and Recreation Master Plan by addressing updates and changes in the community that have occurred over the past twenty seven years, and adjust the Master Plan accordingly. The project shall conform to all applicable codes and regulations and shall be coordinated with the Parks and Community Services Director, Parks Supervisor and City Engineer. The city prides itself on its small sense of community.
The selected consultant team or firm will be responsible for the management and execution of this project, including implementing quality and innovative community engagement, communicating with staff and producing the required final project. Proposals for the described services should be submitted to the City no later than 5:00 PM on Monday. November 18, 2019.
