THE POSITION: Under close supervision to perform a wide variety of general clerical duties in the support of various divisions of the Parks & Community Services Department. Position has public contact both in person and by telephone and responsibility for general clerical duties which include filing, data entry, preparing word processing documents, and assisting in the preparation and distribution of documents; and performs related duties as required.

THE POSITION: Leads and conducts recreation activities including arts, crafts, dancing, drama, games, and sports; maintains discipline on indoor and outdoor play areas, teaches and instructs youth in various games and rules of play; routine first aid in case of minor injuries; picks up supplies, sets up equipment, tables and chairs, etc.; and performs related work as required.

This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to work in a small department and be involved in all phases of law enforcement work with an emphasis on Community Oriented Policing.
Under supervision to patrol an assigned area in vehicle or on foot; answers calls for the protection of life and property, and the enforcement of City, County, and State laws; conducts preliminary and follow-up investigations of disturbances; and performs other related law enforcement activities as required.

THE POSITION: Under general supervision, performs a variety of support services including technical work in answering and processing all incoming emergency and non-emergency telephone and radio communications received for police, fire and animal control; routine clerical and administrative work; provides customer service to the general public; keeps official records; assists in the administration of the standard operating policies and procedures of the dispatch center; assists in the Records Division as needed and performs related responsibilities as required. Non-sworn position; works various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
